Departures: Daily


Day 1: Cusco - Km. 82 Piscacucho - Huayllabamba
(Hike aprox. 5-6 hours).
We will pick you up from your hotel between 6:00 to 6:30am, then we will take the route direction the district of Chinchero, Urubamba and then the district of Ollantaytambo, where we will stop for about 30 minutes to have our breakfast and will also do some shopping as batteries for flashlights, rain ponchos, coca leaves, etc. Then will continue until the Km 82 Piscacucho where we have a goverment control. Here we will start an easy walk, after two hours we arrive to the archaeological site of Llactapata where the guide will explain the history of this place. Then will continue with the walk through the valley and finally will arrive at Huayllabamba (3,000 masl) where we will spend the first night in our camping site. (lunch/dinner).

Day 2: Huayllabamba - Warmiwañusca - Pacaymayo
(Hike aprox. 6-7 hours).
Early after breakfast, we begin the most difficult course with a grueling climb three to four hours to reach the first step called Warmiwañusca called ("dead woman") with an altitude of 4,300masl at this point we will have an breathtaking view of the entire valley of Pacaymayo Huayllabamba where you will feel on top of the world, in this place the guide will conduct an small ceremony for capped peaks of the Veronica, Wayanay. After the ritual with coca leaves we will descend the mountain for about 2hrs to reach Pacaymayo (3,600 m) where we will spend the second campsite. (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

Day 3: Pacaymayo - Phuyu Patamarca - Wiñaywayna
(Hike aprox. 7-8hrs.)
Early breakfast and we start our ascent to the second step of the Inca trail, after an hour of walking we reach the archaeological site of Runcuracay, then continue up the mountain and reach the second step, in this place we can see the valley Pacaymayo and snowy Aobamba Pumasillo (6,000masl), Veronica (5700masl), this is other point where the guide will be holding another ceremony with coca leaves, then descend to the archaeological site of Sayacmarca (3540masl). After a nap we continue till Puyupatamarca (3650masl), from this place we will see the impressive mountain of Machupicchu. After 10 minutes of descent arrive at the archaeological site of Phuyupatamarca, where the guide will give a brief explanation of the site and other archaeological groups as Intipata Wiñayhuayna. We will be enjoying the best example of Inca stone path and an a variety of flora and fauna before arrive at Wiñayhuayna our last Campsite.

Day 4: Wiñaywayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco
(Hike aprox. 5-6 hours).
We wake very early at 4:20am for breakfast, then at 5:00am we will begin the hike to Machu Picchu, in the route we will be seeing a variety of flowers, orchids, etc. After one and half hour of hike we will arrive the sun gate called Intipunku, from this point is the first view of Machu Picchu, if we have lucky we will appreciate the sunrise. Then will descend the mountain to arrive at Machupicchu control where they will have a little free time for use the toilet and also can leave your bags. Then you will visit the archaeological site of Machu Picchu and finally have free time to explore the place and then at the end take the bus back to Aguas Calientes village where can have a lunch and then take the train back to Cusco. Remember you must to be at the train station half hour before departure.
