VINICUNCA RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

The tour to the Rainbow Mountain in the Viñicunca route is one of the lengthiest and marvelous that makes you know the Rainbow Mountain in all its splendor. The route is very interesting from start to end. If you are not able to do the trekking, you can hire the services of a horse in that way you can combine both things to enjoy the place.

Development of the program:

Transfer to the hotel in our private transportation. We will travel in the van for about 3 hours until the start point. Breakfast and then we start the trekking uphill for about 3 to 4 hours until we arrive to the highest viewpoint, located over 5,000m above se level. In the route you will go through different communities and will observe the Ausangate snow-covered mountain. There is the possibility of renting a horse if you do not want to walk a lot. We will be able to enjoy of a beautiful panoramic view. After enjoying we will start going downhill for about 3 hours until we get to the start point. Here we will take the van to return and have lunch. Finally, we will arrive to Cusco between 6:30pm and 7pm.
