CANOEING CUSIPATA ROUTE – 01 DAY

Canoeing tour is one of the most done activities in the adventure circuits in Cusco. Experience is not required since we count with first aid team and highly qualified guides to make of this tour one of the most unforgettable trips, this is done in the Vilcanota River which has very good rapids, especially in the rainy season.

Our itinerary consists of:

At 8:30am passengers will be picked up from their hotels to head to Quiquijana in the Vilcanota River. After 2 hours of trip on bus, we will arrive and get together to deliver the equipment and the guide will give safety instructions. We will start with techniques to go into the rapids; class I, II and III. The journey is exciting and will last about 2 hours. Once we finish, lunch will be waiting or us at the shore of the river, and then, after fixing everything we will arrive to Cusco at 4:30pm.

Important:

This sport can only be practiced in this part of the river from December to May, it is not recommended to practice in other months of the year since the water level is very low.
