TOURS TO MARAS AND SALINERAS (SALT MINES) WITH CONNECTION TO MACHU PICCHU – 2 DAYS

This program is the combination of two important places such as Moray and Salineras (salt mines) finishing in Machu Pichu. This tour starts early in the morning to take advantage of the whole day and enjoy the beautiful landscapes during the journey.

Program Description:

First Day: Cusco – Moray / Salineras (Salt Mines) – Aguas Calientes – Machu Pcichu.

Between 8:30am and 9:00am passengers will be boarding our buses from the hotel or arranged place. Then, we start our journey to the archeological and energetic center of Moray, the trip takes around 50 minutes from Cusco. Once we arrive to Moray zone we visit the archeologivacl center for about 50 minutes and after a good walk we continue to Salineras (salt mines), located in Maras, here, in this impressing place, salt is still removed in an artisanal way. Then, we continue though Sacred Valley to arrive to Urubamba where you will enjoy a buffet lunch in an exclusive restaurant. After lunch and resting, we will continue until we arrive to the train station in Ollantaytambo to travel to Aguas Calientes. The trip takes about 2 hours. Once we arrive to Aguas Calientes town, someone will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. At 7:00pm the guide will visit you at your hotel to give you a briefing of the tour to Machu Picchu.

Second Day: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu tour – Cusco.

Very early in the morning and after breakfast, we will go to the bus station to make a line and board the bus. The journey to Machu Picchu takes 30 minutes. Once we arrive to Machu Picchu you will look for the designated guide, once everything is organized you will be able to enter the Park. The guided visit will take 3 hours. After the group visit, you will have a free time to continue exploring this magical place.

After leaving the Park you wil make a line to board the bus and go down to Aguas Calientes, here, you may have lunch and then be 30 minutes before at the train station.The train will return you to Ollantaytambo and from this point the bus will take you to Cusco City, arriving at around 22:30 hours and where the service is over.
