PALCOYO – COLORED MOUNTAIN

This is a new route called Palcoyo, it is another view to the Rainbow Mountain, and from the highest point not only we will see a colorful mountain but, various mountains. Making this route more interesting. The route is shorter and the altitude is not higher than 4,600m above sea level. Here, there is no need to rent horses because the bus stops at the mountain’s foothills, we will walk a short distance and then view it’s wonderfully.

Development of the program:

We will pick you up at the hotel in our private bus, then we will travel for about 3 hours until we arrive to the start point. We will go up with the van up to 4,000m above sea level and then we will continue uphill for about 1 hour until we arrive to the highest view point. In the route we will see some local communities, and animals like; llamas, alpacas, vicunas, etc. The view from high up is impressing. Once we finish the panoramic view we will start going downhill and arrive to where the van is, return and have lunch. We will finally arrive to Cusco at 5pm. (There is a possibility of going downhill on bikes, you can request more information via email.)
