CUSCO TO THE COMMUNITY OF LARES TREK and OLLANTAYTAMBO VISIT - 3 DAYS

Itinerary:

First Day: Cusco – Waca Wasi
We meet up early in the morning, as coordinated by the guide and passengers the previous night at the trek briefing, and begin our adventure from Cusco. We trek to Lares, a little town way up in the beautiful mountains where there are alpacas grazing freely, glaciers, rocky peaks around us and even hot springs. Our trail goes along the valley to the Waca- Wasi Villa, our first camp. Local hot springs are available for those who choose. (Lunch/Dinner).

Second Day: Waca Wasi – Willop
After breakfast, from Waca-wasi, we begin our trek to Willoq, passing beautiful snow-covered mountains and the impressive Lake Epsay. This is the most beautiful day of our trek, with various lakes, mountains, snowy peaks and interesting animals. At the end of the day we set up camp. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

Third Day: Willop – Ollantaytambo – Cusco
After breakfast we start the great descent from Willoq to Ollantaytambo. We trek through Pumamarka and enjoy the beautiful Andean valleys along the way. Around four in the afternoon, we reach Ollantaytambo and take a private truck back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00pm, and passengers are returned to their hotels. (Breakfast/Lunch).

• Reception and transfer from the airport to your hotel.
• Free security deposit for your valuables and equipment that you’ll not need on the trip.
• Briefing by your professional guide the night before departure for the trek.
• Transportation from Cusco to Lares and from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.

• All meals included in the program (02 breakfasts, 03 lunches, 02 dinners).
• Dining Tent, Bathroom Tent, and fully equipped Kitchen Tent.
• Specialized chef and assistant to prepare meals according to your dietary requirements (vegetarian, etc.).
• Comfortable mattresses for the trek.
• 3 or 4-season tents with 4-person capacity but occupied by only 2 people for your comfort to allow plenty of room for your gear.
• Horses and horsemen to carry the group camping equipment.
• First Aid Supplies.
• Daily Tea Time in all campsites.

Not included:

• Sleeping bag.
• Tips for our personnel.
• Extras items not mentioned in the program.

You should bring:

• Sleeping bag (you can rent a quality down bag from our office at a minimal price).
• Bug repellent.
• Sun block.
• Flashlight with batteries.
• Personal water bottle and water purification tablets.
• Raincoat or poncho.
• Warm clothes.
