Program Description:

First Day: Cusco-Hydroelectric-Aguas Calientes-Machupicchu

At 8:00am we will pick up all passengers from the different hotels. Then, we start the trip to the train station Hydroelectric, this journey will take 5 hours in a van from Cusco. During the journey we will see beautiful landscapes and snow-covered, we will be at around 4300m above sea level which is the highest point. We will go by Santa Maria district until we arrive to Santa Teresa and then, few minutes later we will arrive to the hydroelectric. Once we arrive here, we will stop to have lunch at a restaurant in the area. From this point we start the trekking adventure by the rail road for about 2 hours until we arrive to Machu Picchu town known as Aguas Calientes. The journey is very entertained because it has a lot of vegetation. And from this area we can already see the archeological zone of Machu Picchu. Once we arrive to Aguas Calientes you will stay in the hotel. At 19:00 hours the guide will visit you at your hotel to give a briefing of the tour to Machu Picchu.

Second Day: Aguas Calientes-Archeological Center of Machupicchu - Cusco

Very early in the morning and after breakfast, we will go to the bus station to make a line and board the bus that will bring you up to the entrance of Machu Picchu, this has a 30 minute journey. Once we arrive to Machu Picchu the designated guide will wait for you and once the group has gathered together, the group will enter the archeological park. The guided visit takes 3 hours, which has a detailed explanation. After the group visit, you will have a free time to continue exploring this marvelous place.
After leaving the Park you will make a line to board the bus and go down to Aguas Calientes to have lunch. Finally, you will take the train to return to Ollantaytambo and from this point the bus will take you to Cusco City, arriving at around 22:30 hours.
