ADVENTURE AT AMANTANI AND TAQUILE ISLAND – 2 DAYS

This tour looks to combine a cultural activity and adventure, kayaking and visiting one of the most visited islands in Puno, the Island of Amantani, here we will be able to spend the night in a local family’s house. Combining an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary:

1st DAY:

We will pick up all passengers early in the morning from their hotel to go to the embarkation place to head close to the Steves Island. Here we will start our safety instructions and turn in the equipment and start our journey in kayak, this experience is unique because we can navigate on the highest lagoon in the world in our small kayak, rowing until we arrive to the floating island of Uros. Here we will be able to see a variety of birds and the beautiful landscape that surrounds it. Visiting Uros Island continuing our trip in motor boat until we arrive to the island of Amantani, here we will clearly observe the crystal-clear water of the Titicaca Lake. Once we arrive to the Amantani Island the guide will accommodate us in a local family house, where we will have lunch. In the afternoon we will go to the Pachatata temple to see a beautiful sunset from high up. Then we will return to the family’s home for dinner and at night we will have a show-dinner and then sleep.

2nd DAY:

After breakfast and some exercises we will return by visiting the Taquile Island, once we arrive we will walk to the town and see its famous textile work and typical clothe. And have a typical lunch, finally, we will return to the city in motor boat arriving at around 4:20pm.
