Machupicchu Tour Vía Expedition Train – 2 day

Itinerary:

 

Day 1:

Passengers will be picked up from the hotel minutes before the scheduled departure
time. Subsequently, you will be transferred to the train station, followed by a train
journey to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu). Along the route, passengers
will enjoy a beautiful sunrise along the train track and appreciate stunning
landscapes of snow-capped mountains and archaeological sites along the Urubamba
River. Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu train station, our representatives will be
waiting at the exit to escort you to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon will be at
your leisure, with the option to visit the thermal baths or explore the town by
yourself. In the evening, at 07:00 PM (19:00 hrs), the assigned guide will visit you
at your hotel to provide further information about your visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 2:

After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to the bus station then travel for
approximately 30-minute ascent to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Here, the guide
will meet you and gather the group. Once everyone is assembled, you will enter to
explore the most important areas of Machu Picchu for approximately three hours.
We recommend taking all necessary photographs from the beginning to the end of
the tour, as re-entry is not permitted. At the conclusion of the guided tour, our
guide will provide instructions for your return bus journey to Aguas Calientes, where
you will have the opportunity to have lunch. Finally, depending on your train’s return
time, you will proceed to the train station to return to the city of Cusco. Upon arrival
at the final train station, our staff will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel.

• Reservations are confirmed with a 50% deposit of the total value.
• Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu are non-refundable once purchased.
• Date changes may be possible for the train ticket only, subject to a
modification penalty.
• Cancellations made up to 15 days prior to the service date will be subject to
a 50% charge of the total amount.
• Cancellations made 10 days or less prior to the service date will be charged
100% of the total amount. Payments made by card will incur an additional 6%
of the total value
