The Humantay Lagoon in Cusco is a new excursion very visited for many people like the adventure and nature area. This beautiful Lagoon is located 4 hours outside of Cusco in the district of Mollepata, in rear to the snow-covered mountain of Salkantay. This is a short route and is located at altitud of 4,300 meters above sea level.

Few minutes before the departure time we pick up from the hotel in our transportation, then we will travel for about 3 hours till arrive our first stop point in a local restaurant to have breakfast. Then we will continuum by car for couple more hour till the bus stop points, here is the control and start our trekking to the Humantay lagoon. The first part of the hike its easy and then start uphill till the Lagoon. We will hike for about 2hrs till the top located over 4.300 meters above sea level. On our way we will enjoy of the snow-covered mountains that surrounds the lagoon and depend on the season that you visit this place you will enjoy of a different scenery. There is the possibility of renting horses if you do not want to walk. The view from up high is impressing at the end of the visit, we will descend until we arrive to the start point, here we will take the van to return and have lunch. Finally, we will arrive to Cusco between 18:30hrs.
