At 7:00am, you will be picked up in our private vehicle and we will head 150km to Santa Maria by way of Malaga Pass (4350m). This is a good day to enjoy the scenery of the ecological zone called puna, as we head into the high Andes, 4350m to 1430m, where the climate is pleasant from start to finish. In the area known as Alfamayo, we start our bicycle descent to Santa Maria, lasting about four hours by bicycle. Lodging accommodations are in a family hostel. We dine locally.

Second day: Santa Maria-Santa Teresa

After a good breakfast, we’ll begin our hike of about eight hours, passing part of the original Inca Trail along the way, and hiking through the jungle where nature surrounds us with green, fruit trees, rivers and exotic animals. Also, on the way, we’ll take a refreshing dip in the hot springs of Cocalmayo and finally end the day with a final hike in to Santa Teresa (1900m). We’ll stay in a family hotel and dine locally.

Third day: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes with Inka Jungle Trail  Machupicchu

After breakfast, we’re off to experience nature, adventure and adrenaline again, as we get closer to Machupicchu. Today we’ll have a pleasant climate that ranges from 25-30°C. We will cross bridges used by locals, use oroyas (which is quite an experience) and then finally we’ll reach the village at the base of Machupicchu, Aguas Calientes. Here you will stay in a comfortable hotel.

Fourth day: Aguas Calientes – Cusco – Machupicchu

After a very early breakfast, we hike about sixty minutes to the Machupicchu ruins. Here we’ll see the cloud forest and other natural wonders at dawn. We will have almost the entire day to visit the archeological site, with a professional guide who will make this last day an unforgettable memory and experience for each of us.
