Our agency operates in the coast, mountain and jungle where the accommodation, transportation and service norms that in many cases may not fulfill the visitor’s expectations, however, we will make an effort and act with professionalism to provide the best service so our customers can have an exclusive trip. Traveling around Peru demands flexibility, patience, good humor and the understanding for changes that may occur all of a sudden due to safety or any circumstances that may be out of our control.
By reserving any of our trip tours through our counter, you commit to follow the necessary changes without any complaints that Adventure Peru Tours may have to adopt if any circumstances in our tourist destination occurs and that the Agency may not have control of. This may include events such as: riots, civil disturbance, terrorist acts, employment conflicts, diseases, disasters, adverse climate events, fire and all other similar events that are out of our control. In this case, our company is not responsible and reserves the right to modify, postpone or even cancel the trip if this was the last option to choose from.
We recommend you to get a travel insurance that covers all types of accidents that may occur due to our rugged topography; this includes: medical expenses and emergency repatriation including rescue and air ambulance. We also recommend that the insurance covers loss of luggage due to theft, neglect, loss, etc. Please do not forget to bring your insurance with you so that in any eventuality we can assist you.
When reserving any of our trips of rafting, quads, horseback riding, bicycle, trekking to alternative routes to Machu Picchu, among other destinations in the Coast, Mountains and jungle you must be aware abou the risks associated with these, therefore, Adventure Peru Tours is not responsible among any accident that this may lead in its journey, take in account that these trips are taken by choice without obligation from our company.
It is very important to put in your knowledge that you must send your personal information by email in order to process your reservation in any of the trips. The passport number should be original and updated. Please let us know if you will change your passport before making a reservation since this could damage one of your tours in your trip, keep in mind that there are verification controls / checks especially for the Inka Trail, train and flights.
If you are a student you can have great benefits in our company, discounts of 5, 8, 10% for some destinations, the student id is the ISIC green card which needs to be original and updated.
In order to secure any of your trips in Peru, it is necessary to make an upfront fee of 50% of the total amount of the tour package. You can make this through Western Uniion (www.westernunion.com) or make a transfer fee to a bank account if it is necessary (you can request this by email). The fee charge for any of these, will be covered by the customer. The pending amount of the 50% will be paid off 48 hours prior to the tour. We only accept payments in soles or US dollars. We will proceed to cancel your reservation if payment is not done in the established time. If for some reason you have any misadventure when you arrive, you must inform us with prior time, in that way we can help you and put you in the next tour. If your cancellation is done last minute (48 hours before the trip), there will not be any refund of any amount done to the company, we consider this a NO-SHOW without any right to complain. .
For our adventure excursions particularily trekking, more than 2, 3 or 4 days depending on the type and place. You must pay a non-refundable upfront of $200 p/p. The deposit must be done through western union (www.westernunion.com) or bank accounts in which all tax fees will be covered by the customer and are not included in our tour prices. $30 will be applicable to all passengers or groups during the following dates, considered as high season and important festives; February 7, 8, 9, 10 Fiesta de la Virgen de Candelaria (The Feast of the Candelaria Virgin), International Festive, June 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 Jubilee month of Cusco and staging of the Inti Raymi, Julio 27, 28, 29 Independence Day in Peru; December 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 Christmas and New Year’s.
The Nuevo Sol is our national currency. You can change to a Dollar, which its equivalent is S/.3.38 soles. If for any reason the Dollar value decreases, we will be flexible and we will accept up to a difference of 15 cents, however we will not be able to accept the currency exchange at a lower tax value, this is to guarantee our quality service and our staff’s work.
The upfront payment sent for reservation is not refundable or transferrable. Our agency will have to be notified by email of any changes or cancellation of your trip as soon as you are aware. Once the total amount is paid in cash, we will not refund your payment due to matters that are out of our hands. However, there will be part of the trip that could be covered or used, for example: entrance fees to some places to visit, train or bus tickets, etc. Shall this occur, we commit to provide a special deal.
