Embark on an exciting full-day excursion to the majestic Machu Picchu aboard the Expedition train. Starting in the early morning, this carefully designed program will take you through spectacular Andean landscapes to the legendary Inca citadel, offering an unforgettable experience.

First, early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you in a private vehicle to the Expedition train station. Then, as you travel by train, you will enjoy a few hours of breathtaking scenery. Watch the sunrise over the Andes, admire the majestic mountains, and spot ancient archaeological sites along the Vilcanota River. Afterwards, you will arrive at Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), where our staff will be waiting at the train station exit. They will escort you to the bus station for a scenic 30-minute ride up to the main entrance of Machu Picchu. Next, you will meet your professional guide at the entrance. Once the group is gathered, you will begin your guided tour of the designated circuit included in your ticket. The visit lasts approximately 2.5 hours, giving you enough time to explore and take unforgettable photos. Please remember that re-entry is not allowed, so it’s best to capture all your photos during the tour. Once the tour is over, your guide will explain the details for your return bus down to Aguas Calientes. There, you will have free time to enjoy a pleasant lunch before heading to the train station. Finally, about 30 minutes before departure, you will board the Expedition Train for your return journey to Cusco. Upon arrival, our staff will be ready to transfer you back to your hotel—bringing this wonderful day of adventure to a close.
