Itinerary

Day 1: Lima – Gastronomic Tour

We start at 9:00 AM with a hotel pick-up. First, visit a local market to discover the diversity of ingredients that make Peruvian cuisine unique. Taste exotic fruits such as cherimoya, lúcuma, aguaymanto, and pacae, and explore the variety of fish and seafood from Peru’s rich coast. Next, participate in a cooking class at a specialty restaurant, learning to prepare the iconic Peruvian Ceviche and Pisco Sour. Enjoy a delicious lunch in Chorrillos before returning to your hotel.

Day 2: Full-Day Tour to Paracas & Ica.

Depart at 5:00 AM towards Paracas. Enjoy breakfast en route (not included). In Paracas, embark on an exciting excursion to the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and seabirds, and admire the Candelabra geoglyph. Continue to Ica for lunch and visit a pisco and wine winery, as well as a local chocolate shop to taste typical sweets. End the day at the Huacachina Oasis with unforgettable sandboarding and dune buggy rides. Return to Lima and drop off at your hotel.

Day 3: Cusco – The Historic Capital of the Inca Empire

After breakfast, transfer to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco, the ancient Inca capital. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. At 7:00 PM, receive your tickets for the Machu Picchu tour and a briefing about the journey.

Day 4: Sacred Valley Tour – A Journey Through Time & Culture

Depart at 7:30 AM for the magical Sacred Valley. Visit the picturesque town of Chinchero, explore the archaeological site of Moray with its circular terraces used as an agricultural laboratory, and the salt mines of Maras. Enjoy lunch at an exclusive restaurant before visiting Ollantaytambo, an important Inca administrative and religious center. Transfer to the train station for the journey to Aguas Calientes, and upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Machu Picchu Tour – The Lost City of the Incas

After breakfast, take the bus up to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Accompanied by an expert guide, explore the most emblematic corners, learning about its history, architecture, and mysteries. After the tour, enjoy lunch in Machu Picchu, then return by bus to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Cusco. Arrival around 7:30 PM, then transfer to your hotel.

Day 6: Cusco City Tour – Explore the Imperial City

After breakfast, enjoy a free morning to explore Cusco. At 12:45 PM, start the city tour: visit the Cathedral and Qoricancha, followed by the mysterious Inca fortresses of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay, feeling the ancestral energy of the Andes. Time permitting, visit a local artisan interpretation center. Return to the hotel afterward.

Day 7: Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) – A Natural Spectacle

Depart at 4:30 AM for Rainbow Mountain. Drive approximately 2 hours to a local restaurant for breakfast, then continue to the starting point of the hike. Begin a gradual ascent to the viewpoint at 5,030 meters, enjoying panoramic views of the Andes. Return to the restaurant for a delicious lunch and then back to Cusco by 4:30 PM.

Day 8: Cusco to Puno – Ruta del Sol

Pick up at 6:30 AM for the Ruta del Sol, a scenic route connecting Cusco and Puno. Accompanied by an expert guide, visit archaeological sites such as Andahuaylillas, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America,” and the Raqchi complex, dedicated to the god Wiracocha. Enjoy lunch during the journey and arrive in Puno around 5:00 PM, then transfer to your hotel.

Day 9: Lake Titicaca – Uros & Amantaní Islands

Pick up at 7:00 AM from your hotel and head to the port. Begin a boat ride on the world’s highest navigable lake, visiting the Uros Floating Islands made from totora reeds. Participate in local activities and learn about the construction and maintenance of the islands. Continue to Amantaní Island, warmly welcomed by local families, staying overnight in their homes for a cultural immersion experience.

Day 10: Taquile Island – Discovering Local Traditions

After breakfast on Amantaní, depart for Taquile Island. Greeted by the local community leaders, learn about their traditions and customs. Visit artisan and textile centers to admire local craftsmanship, and enjoy a traditional lunch. Return to Puno by boat, arriving around 4:00 PM, then transfer to your hotel.

Day 11: Farewell – Memories to Last a Lifetime

At the scheduled time, transfer to Juliaca Airport – Puno for your flight back to Lima, taking home unforgettable memories of southern Peru. Conclude your journey filled with stunning landscapes, cultural experiences, and historical discoveries.
