Program Description

Day 1: Arrival in Lima & Historical Context (City Tour).

Upon arrival at Lima International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour through Lima’s Historic Center, exploring key landmarks from the colonial and republican eras, including emblematic sites of the Peruvian capital.

Day 2: Lima – Paracas – – Ica – Huacachina: Coastal Adventure Experience.

Depart by tourist transport toward Paracas, where you’ll visit the Ballestas Islands, home to diverse marine wildlife and fascinating geological formations. Afterward, travel to Ica and Huacachina, where adventure awaits with sandboarding and dune buggy rides on the golden desert dunes.

Day 3: Flight to Cusco & Archaeological Discovery.

Take an early flight from Lima to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.
Due to the altitude, the city tour will focus on accessible archaeological sites such as Sacsayhuamán and Qenqo, allowing for gradual acclimatization under professional supervision at 3,500 meters above sea level.

Day 4:  Ascent to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain)

Enjoy a full-day excursion to the stunning Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca).
Our experienced team will manage transportation and pacing to ensure a safe and enjoyable climb to the summit, located at over 5,000 meters (16,400 ft), offering breathtaking panoramic views.

Day 5: Ecological Journey to Humantay Lake

 

Embark on a rewarding trek to the beautiful Humantay Lake, a turquoise glacial lagoon nestled in the Andes. Our guides will implement hydration and rest protocols to ensure your comfort and safety at approximately 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) above sea level.

Day 6: Full Day Sacred Valley Tour & Connection to Aguas Calientes  

This comprehensive tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas includes visits to Ollantaytambo, Moray, and the Maras Salt Mines, as well as local weaving centers. Later in the afternoon, board a train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 7: Machupicchu An Unforgettable Visit to the  Wonder of the World

 

Begin your day with an early ascent to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. Enjoy an in-depth guided visit that reveals the history, architecture, and spiritual significance of this World Wonder. Later, return by train and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 8: Farewell & Departure

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred punctually to Alejandro Velasco Astete International airport in Cusco for your return flight. End of services.

Train Service to Machu Picchu:

 

• This package includes the Expedition Tourist Train for the route to Machu Picchu.
